IVS volunteer, Emily Wotton, recently returned from her European Voluntary Service (EVS) placement in Russia for six months. Emily’s placement was at the organisation Interra in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia. A student of Russian, German and Ukrainian at university, she spoke in and improved her Russian language skills during her time away.

Emily took part in many activities while volunteering from offering English & German classes to giving cultural information sessions and attending meetings on behalf of Interra. Below are some photographs from her placement.
