Mountain spirit is a strategic EVS project for nature conservation supported by international volunteers. Branches and partners of SCI in Europe are going to host and send more than 70 volunteers in the next 2 years as EVS volunteers in the Balkans!
Five short-term group EVS activities will happen in summer of 2018. From 2 weeks to 2 months groups of volunteers will be helping with restoring educational facilities destroyed by a village fire in Bulgaria; removing shrubs and bushes to support conservation efforts for the last couple of imperial eagles in Serbia; preparing a public event and a publication about 40 years of Kuterevo spirit and UNESCO Man and Biosphere programme in Velebit; exploring and documenting biodiversity in Kosovo and supporting everyday and educational activities in the Bear Sanctuary Prishtina, Kosovo.
