Coming from Strasbourg, France, I started as Placement Officer as an EVS Volunteer (The Erasmus+/European Commission funded programme) to promote volunteering abroad (UK to overseas and vice versa) as well as core values such as solidarity, tolerance, European citizenship and mutual understanding among young people. I am now IVS’ Programme Manager and as a former volunteer myself I really enjoyed helping would-be and existing volunteers to have an enjoyable and social valuable experience.
I was born in Bari (Italy). I joined IVS recently through the European Voluntary Service. I was formerly employed in a public job center in my native city. I was so by what I learned about IVS that I decided to move to Edinburgh to work for them. I am keen on writing so in my in my spare time I write short stories and last year I published my first book.
Finance Administrator Volunteer
I caught the IVS bug more than 25 years ago. I would not be the person I am today without the life-enhancing experiences I had the opportunity to enjoy during the many international IVS/SCI workcamps I took part in my twenties and thirties. I am now well into my forties and I am currently volunteering as a Finance Officer at the IVS head office in Edinburgh to help the wonderful people who make the magic happen for all of us.
Marketing, Events and Social Media Officer
I studied my degree in Events Management at Queen Margaret University. I am responsible for the marketing, social media and recruitment events for IVS. I am passionate about volunteering and glad to be working for an organisation making a positive change. I enjoy travelling to different countries and learning about new cultures. In my spare time, I enjoy walking my dog by the coast.
