Funding
IVS offers a programme of projects at a comparatively small charge to hundreds of volunteers. Our volunteers are committed individuals who give their time to take part in voluntary work which is of direct benefit to local communities and does not replace paid labour.
While we raise some funds for our activities through membership and registration fees, we still need to raise substantial amounts through external fundraising to be able to cover our running costs. We work hard on fundraising but it can take many months for funding bodies to complete their processing of applications. In the interim, we need your support. You can help us by making a donation or leaving a legacy.Make a Donation
There are many ways you can help:
- By donation. However large or small, donations are always gratefully received and do make a difference.
- By Gift Aid. If you are a tax payer and you Gift Aid, then IVS can reclaim tax on every £1 you give. Currently 28p for each £1.
- By Fundraising. Car boot sales, sponsored walks, hair cuts!
Leave a Legacy
To achieve our vision of a fairer world, where people and communities from many nations work together for a more peaceful and just society, we are extremely grateful of supporters who remember us in their Will.
Leaving a legacy helps IVS to enable more and more people and communities take part in our programme of international voluntary projects and to build bridges for greater international cooperation and understanding.
