Our Mission
IVS promotes peace and intercultural understanding whilst supporting the sustainable development of British and global communities. IVS aims to be the catalyst for change within individuals and society, and to help breakdown prejudices and stereotypes for a world of mutual respect and understanding.
We are the British branch of Service Civil International, a world wide network of like-minded, not for profit voluntary organisations promoting peace and justice through voluntary work.
How to Volunteer
Four easy steps to volunteering for Short Term Projects:

- Search for projects
- Fill out an application form.
- Pay the Registration Fee
Please note the special requirements for the North-South Programme (all of the Projects in Africa, Asia (excluding Japan), Latin America, the Middle East and North Africa).
